LIV HOSPITAL - ANKARA, TURKEY

In the hospital that is conceived as an extension of its highly qualified component in Istanbul; generally similar organic forms and approaches are held. The design has been finished together with existing data of the hospital structure.

Entrance hall ceilings generated with organic forms and patterns are fictionalized as a connection between interiors using vectorial illuminated ceilings. Geometry of the ceilings, entrance hall waiting units and reception desk are designed as components of a whole.

Floor halls, the most repetitive spaces in the building, are held with simplicity, just as form and patterns and only elevator facades are accentuated.

Even though all the waiting areas are equipped with the same units, as a result of the structures of interior spaces due to the architectural design, they are detailed with a significant determination through interpretations of ceilings, floorings and finishings.

The ceiling-wall joint details provide to maintain the concept in the corridors and drive apart the form and aesthetic concern loaded to illumination from the ordinariness.

The dental clinic that varies from the other spaces with its customized instruments; is detailed appropriate to its functions, in the meantime, doesn’t stay apart from the whole concept.

Patient rooms are designed parallel to the general concept of the hospital using distinctive materials with harmony.  Even if light colors are preferred primarily, a warming touch is added with wooden wallpaper. Generally hidden lights are used as an extension of other spaces of the hospital, this time also with a patient-focused lighting fixture above the bed.

Patient’s companion area in patient rooms are decorated with components that answer the patients and his companion’s requirements with the details that involves the concept.
